Opening Dinner & Fiesta at Maggie Mae's on 6th St.

Sunday, May 5 from 7:30pm — 10:00pm | Live Music & Tex Mex!

Austin is unlike anywhere else in the country, so to introduce you to the vibe of the city and provide you with a true Austin experience, we’re kicking things off with a Cinco de Mayo party at one of the city’s most iconic hotspots in the heart of the action—and it’s walking distance from our host property.

Get ready to rock as we head to Maggie Mae’s, the oldest nightspot on Austin’s legendary 6th Street. With three stages of music and seven bars, we’re taking over the venue’s famed Gibson Room, which is adorned with guitar-themed memorabilia from throughout the decades. Bring your appetite because we’re celebrating Cinco De Mayo in style. We’ll have a huge spread of all your favorite Tex-Mex fare in addition to an open bar. So, as a live band kicks out tunes, you’ll be able to network with industry peers, fill up on guacamole, fajitas, and more, and toss back a few cold cervezas and margaritas to wash it down. What more could you want for an opening night bash?

Legendary BBQ & Live Music at UnBARlievable

Monday, May 6 from 7:30pm — 10:00pm

On Monday evening, we’re heading to the center of Austin’s hottest nightlife district—Rainey Street—for a bit of the wild, weird, and way-out that Austin is known for. Our host for the night is the circus-themed Unbarlievable, where the big-top meets the bar top. This indoor/outdoor venue describes itself as “decidedly offbeat,” and who are we to argue? Particularly since there’s a huge slide connecting the bar’s two floors.

One thing we are sure of, you’re going to want to leave your fancy duds at the hotel because things are bound to get messy. What would a trip to Texas be without a sampling of their most famous: BBQ! Courtesy of the world’s famous Stubb’s BBQ, we’re providing you with a sampling of all the brisket, sausage, ribs, and accompaniments that make Austin a destination to slow-cook connoisseurs around the country. And, don’t think we’re forgetting the music: we’ve got a live band that will rock the place with a soundtrack of country, blues, and Southern rock that perfectly complement a BBQ party in ATX.
